PUMPKIN CAR STEREO SUPPORT CENTER

Hi,

I have purchased the Pumpkin car radio on eBay from star_cardvd item no. 183103426925.
Just recently tried to turn it on and I can't get it working.

I went online and read the thread on pumpkin forum viewtopic.php?f=3&t=553
I connected the radio as advised on the forum and the screen is still dead https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
When connected there seems to be some power drawn as the voltage drops. The power supply I was using is rated 12V, 10A so it should provide enough juice to start the radio.

Am I missing something? What can be done to fix it?

Hey, I'm not a Pumpkin representative or anything, just browsing frequently waiting for a reply. The 10A power supply is more than enough to power the radio. Its hard to tell what is going on in the pictures though. Your pictures show that you have 12.18V across the black-red and the black-yellow, correct? If that is the case, did you check everything else mentioned in the "How to check the unit" thread? After plugging in did you try the power button? I think its the volume knob on some models. Is the fuse in the back blown? Is the power button sticking, as mentioned in the test thread, preventing the unit from powering up?

you did well .Next, you can take apart the cover of the unit,don't worry it will break the warranty.
Then test the voltage of S1 (the inductance),it should get around 5V power to supply the android board works( the android program in it) .If it isn't around 5V ,then you need to change the whole mother board.
third,test the voltage of S2 ( the stabilivolt), it should get around 7.8V power.If not (maybe 0V),you can change the stabilivolt if you can or contact the customer service or write to support@autopumpkin.com to send the mother board from China.
