PUMPKIN CAR STEREO SUPPORT CENTER

Whenever I set the DVR to record, the camera seems to struggle to process the image. The playback is very choppy and sometimes the picture freezes for a few seconds. If i stop the recording, the playback is perfect. I have tried another DVR camera, thinking that was at fault and the issue is still there.

I have the Android double din unit running Android 5.1 for Ford Focus 2007.

Is there newer firmware for this unit which may resolve the issue thanks?

Hi,
For the DVR camera record, please choose the set the storage path to external SD card or USB stick, and don't open too much page and apps at the same time. The record process may be impacted by the third party app.

I have installed the firmware update you recommended and now I have this problem:

It appears you have sent me the link to the 1024x600 firmware.

How can this be fixed? Can you link me to the original firmware, so that i can restore the unit to correct resolution?

Sorry for my mistake.
Here is the link of the right update firmware for your unit.

After you download the update firmware file and copy it into the SD card, insert the SD card to GPS slot, then you need to press the RST hole and power button at the same time, keep about 10 seconds to enter the recovery mode, then flash the unit.
