Ok, so I spent ages looking for answers regarding Bluetooth gamepad support to work on my Pumpkin 8.0 head unit. However light bulb moment this evening, I grabbed a xbox 360 usb controller and plugged it into the USB port and hey it works!

That'll do me as a work around I guess.
