iPod and Bluetooth on Pumpkin 7" 1024*600 Quad Core Android 6.0 Marshmallow DVD Player for BMW E46

For 2002 BMW 330ci Convertible. iPhone 7 w/ wifi hotspot.
I have some questions that I can't seem to find the answer to from available websites and posts:
1. Does this unit support iPod capability with iPhone 7? The advertising seems to say yes, but every post I can find that Jimmy responds to says no. That is, when plugged in usb port, does unit display iPhone's playlists and play music from iPhone (displaying name of artist and title of song) which can be controlled by the unit itself?
2. I assume that the Bluetooth connection will connect to iPhone 7 and download it's contacts to the unit. How difficult is it to locate number and place call using this unit? (I've been used to hands-free voice-activated calling for the past couple years, but I know this unit does not support this).
3. I notice there is a NAVI button on the unit. I prefer to use Waze. I assume, if I have wifi access, I can download Waze app to unit and launch under Android. However, is it possible to program the NAVI button to connect to Waze?
4. Anyone have any tips for installing this unit into my make/model/year (or similar) BMW?
5. Any general comments about the units reliability, ease of use, etc...?
Again, really interested in purchasing, particularly because it fits my car and supports latest Android OS.
