PUMPKIN CAR STEREO SUPPORT CENTER

I have a Honda Element 2010 EX with the factory subwoofer. Everything installed and works fine, except not sound out of the sub. I hear a click when I connect it, but I'm thinking the power is too low to work it. I also notice that the stereo is very loud at only a volume level of 3, so I'm assuming that for some reason, the volume out of the unit is very underpowered, which is why the sub isn't getting enough power. Anyone have any ideas?

I have a 7 inch Android 6.0 Marshmallow Car Stereo - 2 Din (item model 27-AQTU72-US from Amazon), and used the Metra 70-7863 wiring harness, if that helps.

Also, another minor issue, audio (iheart radio, Googel Play Music) will keep playing, but the controls stop, usually after about 20mins. After another 5 mins, the audio stops too, and I need to restart the respective audio player. Not sure if anyone else is also experiencing this.

the subwoofer frequency is under 120Hz which people unable to hear clearly.Only when you play DJ or other subwoofer music,can you hear obviously.
For the music stop late problem, you can try to reset the unit. If this does not help,could you mind show us a video about the problem.

I did audio recording and post-production for years. The sub isn't working with the Pumpkin unit. It does with the factory stock head unit. You can feel a working sub as much as hear it. Saying it's hard for people to hear under 120Hz is silly, as is saying you need 'subwoofer' music to hear it, anything with decent bass with play through a working sub.

Again, the unit seems to be under-powered, and at a volume level of 3, there is a lot of hiss, and no subwoofer, period. If I have the correct harness, and it's still not working, then it must be something to do with the unit (the settings sound stage doesn't have any sub option as well I notice, simply balance and fade).

For the subwoofer problem,you can try to adjust the EQ in EQ app.
For the sound hiss problem,could you record a video to us?

I know this is an older thread, but I figured I'd give some input since I stumbled upon it, and others might as well.

Did you rewire the harness to the speakers directly, or are you going through the factory amp? Sending an amped signal to the factory amp would explain why it is so loud at a volume of 3. If you did rewire, what is providing the power to the subwoofer? A new amp? Otherwise, you're sending a line level signal which will definitely not move a speaker, let alone a subwoofer.
