RQ0261E - after reset - black screen

Hello,

I own a RQ0261E - unfortunally I have problems with the above Home statusbar - the whole status bar don´t react on touches but all other works
But without staus bar the handling is nearly impossible - via the hardware button below screen you canniot reach home screen / cannot go back.

I am though it is a Android problem ( I have had a similiar problem with a Samsung tablet and a firmware update solve the problem) I have download the firmware provided at https://mega.nz/#F!kc1w2brC!6VlwnWC9eMudYvErM84VtA

Put it on a fat 32 sd card to update firmware via GPS slot - system say no update found. I have tried the SD slot - same message.
I have tried option to "Auto start Audio file for SD card" and it also not working

I try a reset and got blank black screen - reset don´t work / no reaction and also the eject button don´´t work ( so I cannot change my SD card

Also after disconnect / connect power connector = no reaction - I cannot see any thing

Is there any hint to eject to remove the SD card / a special key use to get a reaction on the screen ?

Hi,
The firmware you download doesn't suit your unit.
Normally we don't suggest our client do the flash work without our guidance
Please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more infomation about your unit and provide you positive solutions.

thanx you are right, it was the wrong firmware - but I was lucky meanwhile the device come back, after I disconnect power for a few hours I have the device start without problems.

So only the status bar problem is left - whole touchscreen is working except the above status bar ( from Home button to the go back button)

Dear Jammy,

thanx for providing correct firmware - unfortunal it don´t solve the status / home bar problem

Maybe you have a hint what the problem is - as work around I have program the home and back "button" to my steering wheel - uncomfortable but better than no function

And additional now my back camera no longer working ( I have reset all android / system to factory default)

HAve you a hint for
1. status bar touch problem
2. for problem with back camera

For the screen problem,you can contact the customer service to get an new touch screen.
For the reverse camera problem,could you tell us more?Can the unit switch to reverse mode?
Or did the camera can't work normally just after flash the unit?

Hi Jammy,

regarding rear camera - it works before update without any problem after your update I got a blank screen with symbol that no camera is connected
It is independed if I use rear gear or via front camera app ( switch to rear camera )

Regarding Touchscreen I have found Youtube video from a other user who has exact the same problem :

If you say hardware problem - how can I contact Customer Service - via Amazon or how else ?

Hi,
For the touch screen problem,you can contact the customer service on amazon.
For the rear camera problem,please confirm that the rear camera has 12V+ power when you put the car in reverse.Then,please check whether the unit be modified about the reverse switch option in the factory setting page.It should be unticked like following picture.

thanx this it was - now rear camera is working.

Regarding Touchproblem I have contact Autopumpkin via Amazon and hint to this forum entry.
I hope problem will solved by sending an exchange Touchscreenn only.

Today I have got a new touchscreen and I have exchanged the old wit ht new one.
But the new touchscreen shows no reaction

Is there something more to do like flash a firmware, new MCU or something like this ?

i saw the video you show me and i find the unit you showed is not the unit RQ0261 .Did you have another order number?
Please confirm this info.
