Hi,
Amazon order: 026-8782912-4442716
Ever since having this stereo I have suffered with low volume from the rear speakers in my Audi A4 B7. I have seen the forum post and the different methods of having the wires and have tried them both ways. One way I have quiet speakers, the other I have no rear speakers, so I assume the method with quiet rear speakers is correct. I have also seen that one of the solutions is to buy line out convertors however I have bought a specific stereo to my model of car so I dont think I should be expected to have to purchase additional items to make it work properly.
I have seen on another forum post on here that you now provide a modified power cable that can make the rear speakers work properly, can I have one of these sent out to me? Will this solve my issue?
I have also seen on this blog:
http://blog.ambor.com/2015/08/installin ... d-car.html
It states that the spare AMP-CON wire from the harness needs to be connected to socket 13 of the car quadlock plug, is that correct or should I not attempt to do this? Can I do any harm? It is not clear whether that user suffered with no rear speakers or like myself only quiet rear speakers.
Appreciate any response!
Thanks
