Differences betwen RQ0269E and RQ0259E

Hello,

Could you indicate the differences betwen RQ0269E and RQ0259E? And, is it valid the firmware of RQ0269E (Android 5.1) for RQ0259E?

I have a RQ0259E and I have some troubles so I wonder if it would be solved with Android 5.1

Hi,
Could you please more details about the troubles you came across?
Some of the problem can be solved by the firmware/MCU update, but there is still other problem which has little relation with the firmware.
We will try to help you check and give you solution.

Some of my troubles I can remember at this moment:

-The reverse cam image is shown only in grey scale mode. (with SKU: Y0801)
-The screen frequently shows messages as the memory card has been removed. Specially if a memory card is being used in the 3g modem.
-Many times the unit hangs suddenly. More frequently if dvr cam (SKU:KD-Y0020) or 3G modem (SKU: TB-Y0014) is being used.
-Sometimes the unit reboots.
-The dvr cam stops recording without notice.
-Some well installed app do not appears in the desktop.
-My 3g modem (SKU: TB-Y0014) works really bad. It continously disconnects from unit. I have found better results with another modem from another manufacturer.

Sorry for the troubles caused.
The android 5.1 firmware can not be used on your unit RQ0259E, but you can install the original firmware for RQ0259 to check.

The reverse camera worked fine when tested with an external monitor before the installation, but only in gray scale when connected to my RQ0259E.

Sorry for the trouble caused.
The reason why this reverse camera was in gray scale is that the reverse camera color system is not compatible with the unit.
You can contact our customer service to get the reverse camera refund and buy a new reverse camera from your local.
Or we can send you another kind of reverse camera.
