Ipod touch issues

Hello, I recently got my Pumpkin 7 inch Android 5.1 off Amazon Prime, (Order #102-5060309-9704264)
And am having issues with the ipod feature, at first I had a 2nd Gen Ipod touch that the stereo would recognize but wouldn't find any music. So I figured out it wouldn't recognize a 2ND Gen Ipod so I bought a 4th gen Ipod. Now the stereo will see the music files, but it constantly freezes up, the files are all mixed up into each other, and most of the time it will only recognize half of the songs,

So my question is, is there an update or a fix, for the Ipod APP 1.0 anytime soon? Because this is unacceptable to me as I have over 1k songs through apple, and is my main source of music. I will be forced to return this unit to amazon if I can't get this resolved anytime soon.

Sorry for the late reply and the trouble brought to you.
Regarding the ipod touch issues, please press the RST hole to check. Sometime too many songs from the ipod could cause the unit freeze.
