RDS / Radio Issues with CN01-02202B-01B

I am also very sad, that the radio does not work properly. Ich have bought the radio 5 weeks ago and every week i try another tip (with different settings, wrong updates and so on) from the pumpkin support (email or forum). But all these activities doesn´t solve the problems of the radio. It seems, that is a delaying tactic of pumpkin.

I have bougt the radio by amazon. Pumpkin ist not able to sell a functioning product. I have bougt the 2. pumpkin device and its also the same problem .... I hate this .... i am a consumer and not a tester. I have spend about 100 hours with both pumpkin radios (build in the car, bought a fitting cover, setup, testing, extending the radio, writing with suppord, make a parcel, send back, build in the 2. pumpkin, adjust a new cover, make it fittingly, also setup, also testing, writing with pumpkin support and so on and so on). Who pay me my time?

I have bougt the Radio at AMAZON Germany (Austria) .... the Problems of the Radio are so old, as the radio itself (about 5 weeks). Now i will drive 2weeks to Germany and France. Afterwards, when i come back and there is still no functional completly new software available i will tell this problem to amazon ... and i demand my money back.

Any news? The sender retuning and the messy sendername makes the radio unusable. Please publish a software update for this really very big problem.

Today i have wrote to AMAZON to the back settlement of this purchase. Ich will send the radio back .... or you post a funktional update today!!!!!

In Germany, this "Radio" is on Ebay and Amazon not available any more.  It was taken from the market. Maybe pumpkin will wait until the problem is solved.  And pumpkin knows also, that the following update is the very last chance and MUST be properly running. Another fail will be posted around the net immediately. And this will be the end of this unit. Therefore I assume,  that pumpkin will not release it, until its defenetly working. 
But how long would it takes?

@Jammy: Unbelievable.
You really sell the same unit with new Android Release BEFORE the problems with the old version is fixed?  Why doesn't sent  your company first an update to existing customers and decide to sell a new one?!? Is this the policy of pumpkin, to let customers test and test and then leave them alone and sell a new device to other people?  Please explain.

Hello,
my new Radio CN01-02202B was ordered from the online store Autopumpkin.de. I had difficulties to receive any confirmation that the order was raised correctly. My Order is still not listed on autopumkin website !
The only i got from PayPal :

DAB + Box Y0251”. I reeived the rns on 1.7.2017. on the rns is the name printed

I'm not happy about the unit.
Problems so far:
1) switching from radio to any navigation program results in stopping the radio tone.
during radio on any telephone call will stop the radio tone. I need to close the radio app and start again.
2. Blue-tooth can only be activated for the telephone app.
3. Mirror function with my handy is not working.
4. I- can’t import contacts from my handy
5. FM- RDS function doesn't work.

6. Yesterday I reconnected the power cable. Suddenly the volume button changed the function to tuning the broadcast station now on FM-radio, media player, Dab+ radio. I don' know how to reset the unit. the reset switch didn’t help.
7. Under settings I cant reinstall the factory image ! Is there an different password necessary ?
I tried 126,8888,3368,518,121212,3711,0000,123456, without results ! what can I do ?

Perhaps there is an functional image available meanwhile

You can first reset the unit.The password of the reset factory option is 7890.
If the reset doesn't help,please tell me how you switch to navigation app.
I also don't understand when you said the volume button changed the function to tuning the broadcast station now on FM-radio, media player, Dab+ radio. I don' know how to reset the unit. We hope you can provide us a video about the above problem.You know,a video is directly and clearly to show the problem.
For the mirror link problem,we didn't test this app with handy.You can ask the customer service of the handy whether they support mirror link function.
For the Bluetooth function,yes ,Blue-tooth can only be activated for the telephone app.
