Hi,
i bought the radio on amazon.de, ca. 3 weeks ago. Nearly all was fine, but i wanted something to start at boot or at awakening from standby, so i rooted the radio. Then i found (on XDA-Forum) and flashed a rom for the sofia3gr with marshmallow. The radio with android 6.0 worked fine, no lags no problems, but in a phonecall the other side had an big echo. This is a nogo, thats, why i went back to the stock rom, which i found under https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpo ... ostcount=9 .
Now all is working good, no echo, but one big problem: my radio only does cold boots. In about the first 10 minutes after leaving the car (and come back) the radio makes a warm boot in 3 seconds, but all radio off >10 minutes generates a cold boot.
Now my question:
Could be the reason of the cold reboots the car battery (i read of that), because i spent much time in my car with radio on and without driving,
or could be the reason a wrong rom? In this last case, please give me a Link to the correct file for my radio. I took pictures of the "about the tablet"-page before i did something with the unit, so you can identify the correct designation.

Thanks

Hi,
the current firmware can not solve the cold boot problem.
You can contact the customer service to return it to China for repairing.

Hi. I will not send the unit back! Thats not a hardwareproblem. It was running with 3 OS! If your Engineers the only ones they can solve the problem, ok, then i have to live with. But, whats so difficult, to post me a link to the stock firmware and the mcu? It's a big secret? Ok, send it per mail. Fear you, to be responsible if i brick my unit? You are not. Perhaps i would even buy another unit in your company. Hey, it's your business. Let me try the original firmware and mcu please, and if it do not work, then i'm happy with the cold boots.

Hi,
some of our clients who suffer the cold boot problem updated the latest firmware and find it didn't help .The engineers are trying to solve this problem but still don't get any solution mainly because they don't have a unit with this cold boot problem to analyse.
Here is the old version of the firmware.You can have a try .

Hi,
i solved the Problem for myself. I found an older mcu (2.41?!) and installed it yesterday. Now the warm boots working fine. Maybe it will help you for newer versions.

Hi again,
at the end of the 1st post at
you will find some links to multiple mcu-files. Compare prudently with your unit!!!
For me did:
LM --> Date: March 2017, Version: 2.41_1
@Jammy:
1. I'm wondering if the original external microphone must be powered on with a dip-switch or is it working just by plugging in?
2. Could you tell me the individual functions of the dip-switches or is this a secret too?
Thanks Mike

Re: cn03-03101b, Stock-Rom, Cold Boots, etc.
Hi,
we had set the status of the dip-switch well before sending the unit out.Normally you needn't to set them.
The NO.2 dip-switch is off normally to ensure the internal mic works .
The NO.3 dip-switch is off normally to ensure the internal can bus works.
