Regarding the hot spot problem,if you want to change an new unit ,i suggest you consult the customer survices about the samsung s7/edge hot spot .
In fact ,i don't know where you get the firmware update on Aug 25 to G935VVRS4BQH1.Could you mind show me link？

You need to tell them your order number or ebay id so that they can confirm your unit . i suggest you show them an short video to help them understand your query and find the cause.
