Hi is there any reason to update FW on this device? Mine is working as expected
Ie. New features, capabilities, etc with an update?

Thank you for the feedback.
That is too bad, the unit could do a whole lot more...
And I've noticed some minor buggy behavior. Could really use a factory update.

I'd like to root the device.
Could you provide some CPU/ROM type information?

Could the Android 5.1.1 be updated?

Also is there a method & file to recovery the factory ROM?

How can I do a a factory reset?

Hi,
you can see the device information in the "version" page of the unit .You can reset the unit by using a stick to stick the "RST"hole.

The unit don't support android system.

Thank you again for your quick & good support!

Having bought this Wince6.0 head unit... I think have been a mistake om my part
..not really modifiable, my next Pumpkin will be Android!

But... I want to move forward with a head-unit build image i found... first I'll emulate it for a while on my computer to test

Can you please provide the instruction/method & file(s) needed to reload / rebuild the OEM ROM for this unit?
So I can test & (hopefully not re-image my unit)!
