My device dont work with tomtomGo. "No Connection to the internet" said the device after starting the app. But i have a connection !!! XDA Developers said the reason is the long serial. The solution ist a serial number with 12 digits. But then i must root the device. Is their a other solution for tomtomGO?

Hi,
Our unit system may have the limitation for large memory app installtion, so you could not use the TomTom navigation software.
But you can choose to use other maps, such as Sygic, Google maps, waze.
If you still want to use the TomTom, you may need to follow the suggestion to root the device.
But we have to kindly remind, if you are not proficient about android system, please don't try, cause it may bring other problem on the unit.

I use the CN01-02303B-01A and have the same problem with the long serial. I want to use this app because its the best so i need root to do that. I have nougat 7.1 how can i root it to change the serial?
