New Unit With New Problems.

Jammy,

I have upgraded to the 7.1 unit CN02 03302B due to the cold boot issues with my other unit.

Now I have new problems.

1.
I have a lot of noise and interference in the background while using the phone hands free.

2.
When the unit is ‘working or thinking’ there is a high pitched noise coming from the speakers. It’s when ever the unit it doing something if you understand.

3.
The icons or shortcuts on the bottom row keep defaulting back to the original ones. So everything I change them after a 1-2 minutes they go back to default.

Please help with all 3 question as this unit will be returned also.

Hi,
For the problem of the bluetooth noise,you can place your phone near the stereo.If the noise come from the opposite side,that means the noise is caused by the opposite side.
Regarding the problem of the high pitch noise when the unit working,i hope you can provide us a video,thanks.
For the icon setting problem,you can flash the following firmware.

did you try to reset the unit and flash again?
did you try click the option that wipe data and format the flash?

Hi,
you can do as follow:
first,use a thin stick stick the RST hole. then, insert the sd card containing the img files into the GPS slot.Next,enter into the setting --- about device --- firmware update.Click it and then click wipe data and format flash.
