Hi, we got a new firmware from the factory to delete the weather app on the main screen, or you can download the above app from playstore and customize the main screen.

Hey, the new firmware will just delete the old weather app, just get Apex Launcher as Jammy say's. I ended up using it and think it is really nice. I can set my home screen as I like even with the original launcher apps. In fact, it asks if you want to import the Launcher into Apex.
I then went and got a widget that gives me a 5 day weather cast.
I'm hoping that Jammy might request that Apex be part of the OEM install so it will be easier for end users.
