Hi,
Regarding the problem of the slow update,is the install speed also very slow when you install the app from the sd card ?
If not,it should be caused by the app store(did you install app from Google play store?) .If yes, you can try to flash the unit with the following firmware.

Download the files to the root content of a sd card .Next insert into the GPS slot.Then,enter into settings---about device---system update.
Regarding the DAB issue,sorry for my bad english.I don't understand what you mean.Please tell me more details about the problem.An video will be best.

Yes, the App-Updates comes directly from the App-Store. Download = quick / Installationtime = very long.
I'll check your Update. By the way. This is not a very big (criticval) issue for me, but (in case with the DAB Problem)
indicates for me a memory- or performace problem with the unit.

The DAB Issue is easy to explain and don't need a video. The test-scenario is as follows:

- Unit is running without any special App. (e.g. after starting the unit)
- The Car is not moving at all.
- The Unit response quickly by any klicks on the screen. (Everything is OK)
- Now start the DAB App and wait until the Sound/Music appears. (Almost no interruptions in Sound if all bars are green)
- Check the Signal strengh is optimal (e.g. ALL or almost all indicator-bars are green)
- Now open any other App of the unit. (e.g. Navi)

Effect:
- The music gets now immediatly interrupt by several timeouts (hickups)
- The unit reacts very slow if klicking any other App of the Unit.
- When driving the car, those timeouts reinforced very much.

I have no IT-eduacation, sorry about that, but i guess, this indicates for me, that the unit have
not enough memory, perfomace or RAM, to handel the DAB Signal.

But i will check the update.

Edit: Info to all: A seperat antenna amplifier is strongly recommended for the unit!!

Hello Jammy,
after installing the update, the unit stuck in the boot-mode.
It appears only the Pumpkin-Logo but nothing happens.
After reset the same Problem.

Need urgent support.

Hello,

after flashing the unit with the new image, it was impossible to run google maps.
So reset the unit again to the factory settings. Google Maps is now working again. But the Unit remains terrible slow. Even if connected to my high speed home Wi-Fi,  it takes from 5 up to 7 (SEVEN) Minutes (after very fast download) to install an App-Update for every single App.  That can't be right.  This is never ever a quad core unit. How long does it takes for you to update the installed Apps?

Any suggestions?
