hi
i have the 8 core... and i had to rewire the 12v red acc key wire to constant power since my module is burned out to shut radio off after you open door..
so i shut it off pressing the power button on the radio and it says shutting down.. but it still drains my battery dead... whats going on...
shouldnt it shut it right off
Radio is killing my car battery off why?

HI,
you need to disconnect the 12V red acc key wire if you don't use the unit anymore .
Pressing the power button just make the unit in the standby mode.

ah ok well that sucks but ok thanks..
does that mean it makes it take 30 seconds each time to boot up and not the 2 seconds

Hi,
only you keep the yellow wire of the ISO cable constantly connecting to the battery and the black wire connecting to the ground, can the unit fast boot when you switch the acc on.Besides, you also should set the "shutdown delay when acc off"option as "no delay" to make sure whenever you switch the acc on.
