Improved DAB+ reception and Bluetooth call quality

All it took was a dedicated power line to the battery with a fuse and a 10Amp noise filter/suppressor, this gave me clear Bluetooth calls to the other party, where it used to staticy and garbled is now clear. As a side benefit the DAB+ radio reception is having a lot less drop outs, in particular a street near me 400 meters of broken reception is now 20 meters of fading out and that will probably go as I have added a few millimeters to the supplied windscreen antenna so getting that back to stock or near stock length may get it better still. So for those of you having reception issues take the time and put in a dedicated battery line to the headunit.
