Weather App in start screen still not working!

(MTCWeather_v-1.4.1-release.apk) this app works on my tablet, v6.0 will not work on my tablet. This file (MTCWeather_v-1.4.1-release.apk) will not install as is on my (11-C0537-US-A) radio is there a update app MTCWeather_v-1.4.1

Hi, the system on our unit is android 4.4 which may not compatible with high version app.
If you have the same weather app problem, here is the link of the update firmware for C0537.

You can install it to delete the weather app.

i fix the weather app by rooting radio through factory password after rooting i installed System app remover program and uninstalled the weather app and installed (MTCWeather3_v-3.0.6b-beta) reboot radio and now weather app is work.

Hi, normally we don't suggest our client root the radio even though they are proficient of the electronic knowledge.
Cause it's easy to lead some other problem. But we are also glad to hear you solve the weather app issue by your own method.

I have the same problem, my unit is a Mercedes Benz Vito unit (KD-C1016 I think). Also the iPod app has never worked. Is it just me?

I run Apex launcher on my unit. It looks good and works fine. I found I don't really need a weather app, anyway.
I will therefore not update firmware for now.
