Radio won’t start anymore (CN10-04202H-01A)

Hi,

Today my head unit suddenly stopped working. When I switched on the ignition the lights of the buttons are not glowing and the CID of my Opel Astra just says “welcome” (see attached pictures).

Is there a quick fix for it or is the unit broken? I bought it about a month ago.

Update:

Today I couldn't start my car because of a weak batterie. So i jump started it. I was thinking that this could not be a coincident withe the radio not working. So i removed the radio and pulled all connection to it. But this didn't help. But i realized that the CID was still showing "Welcome!!!" at the screen. So i disconnected the CAN bus encoder and that did the trick. Everything is working again.
So i think that the CAN BUS encoder was stuck and drawing power even after the car was parked for the night. I will monitor it and give you guys feedback if the problem reoccurs.
