Some additional question. I was researching in the net and reading something about flashing MCU version if the firmware should be loaded to the device. So in case of flashing firmware I would need the MCU file for that (R0HST16052800). Can I download it also from this source?
That would be great.

Hi,
If you want to try to flash different mcu or firmware from us, we don't suggest this.
Cause it may damage the unit or bring other problem, by that moment, we are not sure if the original firmware or mcu can help the unit back to work again.
And the factory just gave us the original firmware in case the unit stuck in the boot, there is not available for the muc file (R0HST16052800).

Hi,
Now I have bigger trouble with Bluetooth use. I would like to use a third party app "PACE" with a special BT dongle. This is especially for the use in a car.
Did you get any information regarding using third party apps via Bluetooth?
Is there any other possibility maybe with root access?

Hi,
This unit does not support the third party app with the BT dongle.
It's determined by the Bluetooth module integrated with the unit, the root access cannot make it available.

That's really bad. I thought about using it with all benefits of Android's system. Now, there are more and more limitations in using this unit.
Are there FW updates planned which will make these user wishes possible?
It is a really nice unit, but didn't meet all customer requirements. And nowerdays there are so many applications based on Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy. Other universal Pumpkin units which offers this functionality?

Hi,
Sorry that the unit can not support all the requirement related to the Bluetooth function.
In fact, I don't know which special BT dongle you mentioned. Sorry for my poor knowledge about the Bluetooth devices.
I just know our unit can work with the Bluetooth OBD2, but not all the kind of Bluetooth OBD2.
We are always trying to make our new product meet more customer requirement, but you may know, there are many other factors limitation.
