I just knew that your car 2005 Ford F350 has a can bus system.For this ,did you using a ISO cable with a can bus?
If not,you need to buy one so that you can using the steeling wheel control .

Did Your truck have can bus? Did you have to buy an 'ADAPTER BOX" for the steering wheel controls to work. I have a 2006 f 350 super crew cab and will be using "Torq" most of the time also.
Is the unit still working as you expect?
Did you get an update for your android system?
Do you have a "dash cam" and what brand do you have?

I am 99% sure my truck does NOT have canbus. On most of the "does your vehicle have canbus" charts it says my 2005 F350 has it, but that does not appear to be accurate. I still have not tried wiring up my steering wheel controls mainly due to not having time yet.

The unit works as expected so far. Apart from having to tweak keymappings in order to skip tracks with another app in the foreground it's done everything I've needed it to do.

I only have three real complaints about this head unit so far. The first is that it only has 2GB RAM and Android likes 3GB+ so it can get a little sluggish sometimes, mainly on startup when I'm launching my music player and getting Torque going. The second is that it does not appear to have any root/rom support which I very much want. The third is that the included wifi antenna is absolutely terrible, so I'm going to throw one of those stubby/rubber ducky wifi antennas on it to see if that helps. Sitting in my driveway I barely get a signal from my Ubiquiti long-range access point, but can hold up my phone and see full bars on its wifi connection.

I have not updated the OS and when I asked here in this thread Jammy said no update was available for it yet.

I do not have a dashcam installed yet but do plan on getting one, and it would be independent of the head unit. I do not know how dashcams interface with this headunit, if they can at all. Also don't have a rear-view camera but I plan to buy one that replaces our tailgate handle and I assume it will work with the head unit.

I was all set to get this unit, now Im not so sure, I think I will look around for something different... Do you have any ideas about the Joying?

I guess the question is; would you buy it again?
The marginal wifi reception would be a big problem for me. Has a new antenna helped?
I hope you don't mind all the questions, but every time I look at a review for any of these head units I get really mixed reviews

Sorry for the delay.

It's a pain trying to find a unit to pull the trigger on because there are so many models, variations of models, stuff gets discontinued and replaced at an insane rate. This head unit was the best I could find based on features and reviews. It is octacore/2gb ram so it's top shelf as far as specs go, and while it has its quirks it's been great for me so far. Just wish it had 3GB of ram.

I have not replaced the antenna yet. I just want to get a 3g dongle for it honestly.
