Today there was a trip of the same 500 km. During this time, the device freezed 10 times and reset three times. Worked only Navitel, sometimes radio. Is this some kind of defective or Pumpkin rating is down ?!

On the first issue:
I installed device like this , " instructed me to short the red and pink wires on the rear of the unit", because of this it was not turned off (now everything is fine).
What about my second problem with overheating and subsequent freezing device?

Hi,
thanks for telling the solution of the first issue.
For the second issue,we have done a burn-in test but the highest temperature is around 70 degree.
So you can consider contact the customer service where you bought the unit to change one or other solutions.

Of course you will have a temperature lower in the test than in the car. The fact is that in the car directly behind the device are the air vents of the stove and during the operation of the car this increases the temperature of the device. I have a model special for bmw e46 (not universal) and I think that you should have known about that construction and must be make the cooling of the device more powerful! It is right or not?
