No DAB signal

Hi,

I've just fitted a 4 core android 7.1 radio and DAB+ box, both bought direct from Pumpkin.
I have no DAB signal.

The USB ports both work when used with another device.
The aerial is correctly installed.
All connections have been checked and are ok.

Can you help please.

please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more information about your unit and provide you positive solutions.
About the DAB issue,first please check whether any DAB stations around you.

Order number 100002490, ordered on 07/11/2017 direct from Pumpkin. DAB model is Y0251.

My other car has an excellent DAB signal, it picks up a range of national and local stations.

The correct app is installed. The app opens and you can search for stations but none are found, the signal bar is all grey.

Both USB ports work with flash storage.

It's probably also worth mentioning that the vehicle does not have a heated windscreen.

It's fitted to a VW Caddy. Pumpkin radios seem popular on the caddy 2k forum, a few people keep recommending them.

New DAB antenna received today.
Fitted and tested, no change, still doesn't work.
Symptoms unchanged, since the USB ports work I guess it can only be faulty DAB box or a software issue.

What should I try next?

points 1 to 3 in that post have been checked and are OK.
point 4, I used a different location, top left not bottom left.
point 5 app opens OK.
point 6, no signal, no stations.
point 7, I haven't done this yet, I'll give it a try.

Also tried a reinstall using the version in the OEM folder
No change, still no signal.

point 8, location, Durham in north east England. My other car and the radio in the office both get a good DAB signal here.
point 9, antenna already replaced.
point 10, I can't do this, I don't know anyone else with a Android car stereo.
Point 11, I can take a screen shot if that would help, but it's exactly as shown in the guide except none of the signal bars are green and no stations are listed even after searching.
point 12 is correct, I think there is something wrong with the unit. I suspect the fault is with the DAB box rather than the head unit since the USB ports work with other devices.
