Part of screen unresponsive

There is a strip of the screen, just below the top and all the way across the width that will not respond to touches. In apps anything in that area cannot be pressed. For instance, in Amazon Music, I cannot just press on the Playlist, Genre, Album menu headings, I have to swipe another part of the screen to move to that menu. In the Google Play Store, I cannot press the headings to change between Installed apps, etc.. I also tried a different launcher, Apex Launcher, and could not open any apps that were in this portion of the screen. Please advise.

you can contact the customer service where you bought the unit to change the touch screen or display screen.You need also provide some pictures or an short video about the problem to them so that they can determined to send touch screen or display screen.
