Update MCU, Andoid and Kernal

Hey guys,
I have a 9" unit (MCU VERSION- MTCC-KLD6-V2.97, ANDROID 5.1.1, KERNAL- 3.0.101+, BUILD NO. RK3188-userdebug). I did see an update of android 7.1 around along with some updates for the MCU and kernal, Is it possible for me to update too? My unit seems to be unstable and slow now.

sorry that your unit doesn't support update to android 7.1 and that mcu version because of the different build-in hardware .

How about Android 6.1? My unit is hanging now and im assuming an update will solve the issues.

please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more information about your unit and provide you positive solutions.
The android 5.1 unit also doesn' support update to android 6.0,just support the other version of android 5.1.
Do you mean that your unit is stuck now? Some pictures or an videos will help us find the problem of the unit.
