Automatically start dash cam recording

Hi,

How do you setup a dash cam to automatically record?

I've got a USB camera and I'm using the pre-installed DVR programme. If I open DVR and start recording it works, but it's a bit impractical to do that every time, I expected it to automatically record.

Hi,that is normal.
But after you open it ,you can put it on the background.

OK, I'll try some 3rd party apps to see if I can get any of them to automatically record.

Resolved (I think, only made this change yesterday so not tested for long)

I used the standard app along with autostart no root.
Install autostart no root, set it up to open the DVR app, then open DVR and start it recording, it should then open and start recording everytime you turn the head unit on.
