CN10-02308B-08A-A Pumpkin 7.1 rear camera issues

I purchased a Pumpkin 7.1 android radio with model # CN10-02308B-08A-A and cannot get the rear camera to activate using the "CAM IN" video signal. I checked my wiring multiple times and still get no signal, however, when I plug the camera input into the 'VIDEO IN" and open the Aux in app, the rear camera works fine. I don't want to keep opening that app just to see the rear camera activate when it should activate as soon as I go into reverse without having to open the aux in app, could there be a problem with the rca cables? Thanks, looking forward to some help.

Hi,
you need to connect the reverse wire from the back unit to the rear car light.So when you put the car in reverse, this wire get power and the unit would switch to the reverse image.

My rear view camera comes with a yellow rca cable along with a red power line. I linked the "reverse wire" to one of those red wires and on the other end, I tapped the other red wire to the rear tail lights, that obviously does not work so I will try this method and run the wire straight to the tail light in hopes of getting signal. I'll report back if successful, thank you.

Hi, next,you can enter settings - car settings - extra settings - disable reverse video page and modify the settings.
