Nissan x trail 2006 steering wheel controls.

Help! I have fitted a pumpkin android 7.1 double din radio to my Nissan X Trail 2006. I have used a connects2 harness to connect it. Everything works other than the steering wheel controls. I cannot get the radio to the screen where I should be able to choose an icon. This is with the interface on. All wires have been checked and are correct. If I unplug the interface I can then choose an icon. If I press ok it goes to the next screen but will not go any further.
Any ideas ?

Hi,
for the steering wheel control, first you need to connect the K1 or K2 and GND wire of the power cable to your car SWC connectors.Then enter settings - steering wheel study .

How should I connect the steering wheel remote condition?
