7" Quad Core Android 5.1 Issues

Received the 11-RQ0264E+Y0811 model from Amazon this week. There are a number of issues after installating.


1. At first startup all 4 channels work properly and when I restart the unit I lose sound quality and the 2 rear channels stop working. If its radio all 4 channels still work. Pandora/Music/Netflix etc only work at 2 front channels at much lower quality. I have to manually remove the 12v yellow wire and reconnect and restart the head unit to get all 4 channels working again. I have to do this every single time. My amp is working fine with another head unit so it is the pumpkin head unit or software issues.
2. The volume knob stops responding after a period of time. THe pulldown touchscreen volume option doesn't work either. I cannot control the volume until i restart the head unit.
3. Why does it crash and reboot by itself 25% of the time?
4. Plugging in my iphone 5s into any of the usb ports also crashes it and will not play any sound until I unplug my phone.

PLEASE FIX THE ANDROID OS.

Hi, your amazon order number would be appreciated.
Regarding your issue, would you mind take a video and upload it to youtube, then send the link to us for check.
Cause we rarely come across these problem, according to our experience, you can try to install the update firmware to solve this system error.
We have contacted the factory, they will provide us the update firmware once they test it well at this Friday. Hope you can wait for a few days.
About the iphone connected to the unit through USB cable, sorry that this unit does not support to work with iphone directy through USB cable.

I got same unit dont have any of the problems you are have. contact support the are fast to reply.one thing i have notice this unit get very hot.also cant seem to find a micro sd gps map card. when i installed my unit i connected right to my home network as far as volume control there is option to turn up or down in Factory settings. give it a try worked for me.

I have the exact same issue posted on this threat. Please Help. Where can I download the firmware. Maybe a full restore will do the trick.

Hi, please check if you use your browser to open and download the update.img file.
And the unit should be connected to internet.
Or you can download on your PC, then use a micro SD card to copy the update.img file and insert the micro SD card into GPS slot.

My unit 11-rq0264e Quad core, My wire harness was defective due to plastic being to thin between the RED and Pink wires melted through and made contact. Fortunately the unit is okay. Can you please tell me the correct pin assignments and wire colors for the wire harness as I have one that fits but I'm sure the wire colors are different and I'd like to know the correct ones in order to connect it properly
