Is an actully netflix app available?
In my Pumpkin with Android 7.1 runs only an very old version of Netflix from Android 4.x, but there is no possibility to download videos.

you cant install from playstore as you try already, i just backed up from mi celular and then installed om the head unit and works really good

I tried it and it didn't work. Netflix shows me a window that this unit is not compatible. only an old version netflix-4.16-200147-release works, but with this old version i can't download movies.
And now after I tried the other version I can't login no more. So Netflix didn't work anymore.
I test the unit until the weekend, nut i think i will sent it back.
Yes, on the unit is an android system available, but has nothing in common with an Android on a phone. Most things do not work.
It is not even possible to make reasonable calls.
I think i try an unit from an other suplier.

What i could see yesterday evening was an info in the Netflix app, that the Pumpkin unit do not meet the safety guidelines from Netflix to download movies!!!

sorry about the bad experience.
you can flash the following firmware and then re-install the app with the version -4.16 .

Please download the files to the root content of one sd card and insert it into the GPS slot.Then enter settings - about devcie - system update.
