Audi A3 8P (2010)

I recently bought this Pumpkin head unit http://www.amazon.de/PUMPKIN-Android-4- ... pumpkin+a3 to my Audi A3 8P (2010).

I connect the HU with the quadblock-adapter (with canbus-box).

Problem is when I turn off the engine, HU powers off too, while it should stay on, and power off when I pull the key from ignition switch. This means, I can't listen music without having all ignition powers turned on.

The original Audi Concert worked perfectly, eg. powered off when I pulled key from ignition switch.

Hi, could you please tell us if your little dashboard screen also turn off when the head unit powered off?
Would you mind take a short video and upload it to youtube, then send the link to us?
We will check if it's the canbus compatibility problem or just the factory default setting.

Sorry for late answer.
I have exchanged the can bus adapter with one from another manufacturer and now it works right.

It's working very good so far. But I have the same problem which Garidian already mentioned some time ago here.
I just was wondering if there is another solution without changing the can bus cause I am a noob regarding electric stuff

Hi,
If you don't want to change another can bus which Garidian used, you can modify the wire and connect the red ACC wire from our power cable directly to your cigar lighter positive pole. But the steering wheel control could not be used.
You can ask professional electric guy for help.
