Question about front camera

Hello,

I have a question about the fron camera function.
I have an usb camera and it works with the recording app.
But it don't work as front camera. Why not.
Is it possible that only the pumpkin itself camera works as front camera?

What is front camera in your opinion?
I think the front camera as the usb camera.

I don't want always give the whole world (this is an open forum) my order numbers for a general question.
The pumpkin unit have an option to take on a front camera. A camera which turn on for a few seconds ich i switch from the back reverse gear to the drive forward gear.
Where must I connect this camera? Must it be a pumpkin camera?

Most pumpkin (and other band) units support two cameras. I don't think they will work as you describe.
Front, usb most but not all brands/models are supported, acts as a dash cam, always recording not normally displayed.
Rear, composite any brand that supports the appropriate standard, acts as a reversing camera, not recorded only displayed when in reverse.

But so as I discribed I can set it in the menue.
And if I did I have an app icon front camera. And if I set it and I switch from the reverse gear to the forward gear the Dislay shows the front camera app but no picture.
So I think that the unit should can this.
