Weak gps signal inside town

I bought the model AS0372B, order number 500003589.
I have the problem that when I'm starting the car inside town the device is receiving signal from maximum 3 satelites (even when I'm waiting about 30 minutes).Going outside town, the reception is dramatically improved, there are at least 10 satellites in view and no problems anymore.The gps cable is plugged in OK in the back of the device and also the antenna is well positioned on the board of the car (see the image).Which can be the reason for the poor reception inside the town ?

I have 2 additional questions :
1.How can the unit be rebooted ?
2.There is a way to assign starting a particular application (ex Waze) to a hardware button from the panel ?

Hi,
1.about the GPS issue, the bad reception is caused by the bad surroundings(in the town).Sorry that unable to help you solve this issue effectively.
2. it is impossible to root the unit.
3.you can set the Waze app as the default navigation app .See following picture.

My question was about rebooting (restarting) the unit (to initiate a cold start..)

sorry. you can cold boot the unit by click the RST button.
