Hi,
I purchased and installed this headunit:
http://www.autopumpkin.com/pumpkin-7-10 ... amera.html
Also purchased and installed this ODBII adapter:
http://www.autopumpkin.com/car-electron ... y0004.html
I cannot get it to pair to the headunit. I can see it in the list of BT devices (and it has an ODBII logo next to it), however when I press the button to pair, nothing happpens. I also tried a different ELM327 ODBII module and get the same result.
Can you please advise how to do this? I thought both being from AutoPumpkin it should work seamlessly?
Thanks
Clay

Re: ODBII not pairing with AutoPumpkin 7" unit
Sorry for the late reply, I am still having the same problem.
See photo above:
- On the left is my original ELM327 mini from eBay. Pairs with my phone (Samsung S6E+) using passcode 1234, connects to torque app fine. AutoPumpkin headunit can see it in the list of BT, however pairing is never successful (selecting it and pressing pair results in nothing happening).
- On the right is the new ODBII unit I purchased from AutoPumpkin website, as I expected you guys would test your products together. However it has exactly the same symptoms - pairs and works with my phone & Torque (passcode 1234), however cannot pair with the AutoPumpkin headunit (also does nothing when I press pair).
Can you please advise how to solve this issue? It is disappointing that I spend the money to buy the AutoPumpkin ODBII and it does not work. I also bought an AutoPumpkin 3G dongle which does not work, so starting to see a trend here

Re: ODBII not pairing with AutoPumpkin 7" unit
Confirming I tried everything:
- Delete all devices from BT menu
- Try to pair ELM BT device (both the AutoPumpkin supplied unit, and a regular ebay unit)
- Briefly says 'pairing' but it never does
- Tried both Torque/Dashcommand anyway, and they cannot see the BT serial adapter device.
Both these ELMs pair to my Marshmellow android phone correctly (Galaxy S6 Edge), and Torque/Dashcommand work with them.
So seems to be squarely an AutoPumpkin issue with this unit.
Can you please advise how to get this to work, as this was one of the features advertised by AutoPumpkin which convinced me to get this unit.
Thanks

Re: ODBII not pairing with AutoPumpkin 7" unit
Hi,
you can try to reset the unit.
If this does not help, you can contact the customer service to change to a wifi OBD .

I currently have the same issue with my OBDII adapter Bluetooth.
Is the only fix to switch to a Wifi adapter?
