TomTom Problem on Android 8.0 Oreo SKU: ND0279B

Hi,
first sorry that i don't get this latest firmware from our engineers .And so you don't need to flash the firmware i gave you before.
In other thing,you needn't to unzip that update.zip files you download.
About the Tomtom app ,which country are you from? Maybe it is regarding to the region .Because currently only you had suffered this issue.

I thing so to it is a regional problem...

I get the menu work, it was a configuration problem.
I go to Settings => Accessibility => Display size and set the option to small
after that i can use the menu from Tomtom.

If i get the 3D View to work i let you know it

I have the same problem on my AE0273B. I have tried different navigation apps and all except Google maps have the problem with the 3D view.

try to reset the device.
i have this issue sometimes with my 7.1 device, when changing Radio and go back to TomTom.
then it works again...using west europe maps here.

honestly - for me - tom tom is the best app for navigation...also Here works fine, but TomTom has a lot of
features that i miss at others

unfortunately: its really not supported on Android Tablets or Radios - Warum auch immer

On Android 7.1 i know it works great thats only a bug in TomTom with the 3D View on Android 8
The Menu-Bug was only a configuration mistake withe the display size...

-Soweit funktioniert es mittlerweile komplett auf Android8 und mit der fehlenden "3D-Ansicht" kann ich momentan leben... denke mal dass es mit dem nächsten update der app vielleicht behoben wird... mal abwarten...
