DAB anf AM/FM problem

I just had a replacement CN01 unit as it had a hardware failure however before that the DAB (with a Dongle) worked fine. On this new unit it's misbehaving like it works fine for several hours over a long driving distance and then on the same return route it starts constantly squealing as it goes in and out of signal. I realise the shortcomings of DAB in certain areas however this is happening everywhere.I have a full 5 bar single then nothing the next second whether I'm moving or not
I did use another App on the old unit which was great unlike the Stock App which is all but useless ie. No favourites,presets or decent settings. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the good App (it went back with the old failed unit) I got a apk. from a 3rd party site Can anyone recommend a decent DAB apk with opportunity to have favourites, presets, etc

Also the stock radio only worked on FM on the old unit and on this new unit neither AM or FM will work...........very frustrating

Hi,
you can contact our pumpkin customer service about the dab issue.They know your old unit and can show you other version of the DAB app.
About the radio ,maybe you don't choose the correct radio region. You can also contact our pumpkin customer service about this issue.

I was hoping that you could direct me to somewhere to download an apk for a better app this problem with the current stock version has been mentioned by quite a number of people but when viewing the thread nobody seems to have a solution I don't see the point of contacting customer services they only ever seem to refer me back to forums it is obviously a problem with the stock app because on the Old units when I found a third party up it worked fine I had none of these problems but now it is absolutely hopeless on d a b a.m. And FML
