New units with panel size (173 x 98)

I've got the opposite problem with my Android 8 Universal unit. The unit's front bezel is much thicker than the older units. It's now 15mm deep.
This means the unit does not sit flush to my dashboard - the deep bezel hits the DIN cage before the unit is fully flush. The older unit I had fitted perfectly.

Why did Pumpkin decide to made the front bezel thicker on the Android 8 unit?

Could you mind show me an video or some picture about your issue ? What is your car model ?
