Bluetooth not seeing anything

Hi guys. Just took delivery of a new pumpkin 8.0 Android head unit. All seems ok except for Bluetooth. It is scanning but isn't seeing any of the multiple Bluetooth devices that are broadcasting. The unit isn't hanging, but just stays searching. The Bluetooth is set to Wq_bc6. Am I missing something obvious?

Did the unit display the bluetooth name and pin cord ?
Please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more information about your unit and provide you positive solutions .

I bought it directly from Pumpkin. Order number 100003098. I've changed to bc5 and bc6. It doesn't display name or pin, but I can manually enter one.

It was originally set to bc6, I changed it to bc5. It changed but made no difference. Still no name or pin. When I change it back to bc6 it reboots but hasn't changed to bc6.

Why is the reply process so slow? Why don't my posts get verified faster? At this rate I might need to RMA the unit.

A further update. I did a full system reset, I can now switch back and forth between bc5 and bc6, but device name or code still don't show. It also still can't find any devices

Hi,
sorry for the late reply because of the busy works.
Please pay attention,after you change the BT type to BC5, then you need to click the apply icon .
Then,you can try to plug the unit out and check whether the installing screw reach up the BT module board. If yes, just contact our pumpkin customer service (they can help you all issue )to change it or a mother board.

The screws used are short, they have not contacted any interior boards

Is the Bluetooth board soldered in place, or plugged in. How easy is it to replace?
