Pumpkin 2 Din 6.2'' Android 7.1 wont recognize USB camera

Hi,

In my video i tested the front USB and 1 of the back USB(this one is mounted in my dashboard via the extention cable.

I took the unit out and tested also on the 2 USB ports directly on the back.

I'm 100% sure both USB ports on the back are not recognizing the camera. The USB ports are labeled USB 3G and USB Cambus.

How do i contact pumpkin customer service?

Is there not an option to let the unit work with the app Cam on Roads? this is a great app, only i get a green beam in the screen when recorded.

Hi,
sorry for the late reply.
1.after change the USB slot connecting to your dash cam ,you need to re-connect the power cable again or click the RST button to fully reboot the unit.Sorry for forgetting to notice you this.
2.sorry that this unit really doesn't perfectly works with the third party app cam on road.Maybe you can test other app.
3.you can contact the pumpkin customer service though support@autopumpkin.com.You need to tell them your order number and details of your query.

Hi,

I disconnected the power. Put a SD card in and put the resolution on 480p. Then the unit recognized the camera.
Only the green beam in the screen is back on the recorded files. See video.

Hi,
you don't need to choose the resolution.Now,you can do as follows :
1.check whether your system version is updated on 20180330.You can enter settings - about device - system version.
2.if yes,reconnect your power cable and DVR cam to the car stereo.

I updated the software again. Maybe something went wrong the last time...
All works OK now!

Even Cam On Roads works fine now.
