Hi,

I'm happy to announce that I have my Pumpkin installed in my Quashqai (J10) successfully. I'm still waiting for some cable adapters. However during the tests I recognized some things which are really strange. Maybe you could answer them somehow.

a) Is there a new firmware for this device? AE0273B-01B

b) What is the latest firmware version and where can I find it in the OS?

c) Why is it not possible to connect an iPhone 6 128 GB via USB? (Even my old Nissan radio could do that easily...) Mirroring is interesting but it takes minutes until everything is set up and I still can't control it via the Pumpkin device so again - why is it not possible to connect an iPhone 6 128 GB via USB?

d) I found in the factory settings (126) the option to activate the iPod function - but this app crashes

Hi,
1.the latest firmware is updated on 20180616 and still android 8.0.Normally we don't suggest our client flash the unit if it works as it should.
2.it dosn't support transfer files from iphone or IPod .
As far as i know, android system device don't recognize other phone via USB connection ,except charging .Sorry that we still don't delete that fault option in the factory settings.

Hi Jammy,

thank you for your reply. I think the only way which I found right now is a possibility to get a USB dongle which establishes carplay or android car - it seems that this works. You need the USB dongle and you have to install the app via apk.

I try this one out.
