W1117-01B-DE-A with CAN-BUS

Dear Support. I just bought a car with one of your radios installed.
Its an BMW E46 and the radio is a W1117-01B-DE-A with CAN-BUS Adapter.

The steering wheel control works fine... but for example Speed and PDC Distance isn't shown on the unit. The fields are simply left empty.
Do I have to change the CAN-Type in the factory settings (3711)? At the moment BMW X1 is selected. There is no BMW E46.

There are also a few other things I do not like. Stored radio stations are stored with frequency as name, not with the RDS name. When playing music on the SD card, songs are sorted quite strange (shuffel is off). Song names beginning with 1... 2.... 3... and so on are played randomly.
Do you have an Firmewareupdate for this unit?

it is normal that the unit doesn't display speed and PDC .

Ok, I can deal with that. But I still have an other problem. Every morning, I have to delete the radios bluetooth connection on my iPhone x (iOS 12) and have to add the radio again. Without doing that, its not possible to get connected again. The message "Connection not possible" is shown on the iPhone.
Radiostations and other settings of the radio are still ok.

Maybe I've made a mistake on the factory settings (3711). How can I restore them to the original values?
Is there a setting that can explain the bluetooth problems?

Hi,
there is no such settings in the factory settings. Normally we don't suggest our clients modify the parameters in the factory settings without our guidance .
About your issue, i suggest you try to delete all connect record both on the phone and the car stereo . Then reboot the phone and the unit.

Are there plans for a firmware update for this still available unit?
There are some things to improve.

- Saved Radio stations RDS name instead of frequency
- Sequence of tracks while playing mp3 from SD-Card are randomly

What about the iPhone Dongle. Is this dongle still availible and working with iOS 12 and iPhones with lightning jack?
