Phone Battery Level show on Android car radio

Hi, I have a problem to show the phone battery level on my android car radio pumpkin RQ0278.
It's possible to show it?

Hi,
the unit don't support to show the phone battery.
It is my first time to meet this problem.
Could you mind tell me why you want the unit to show the phone battery?
You can see the battery containment on the phone screen.

Hands free means not touching your phone with your hands

So unless you've got your phone in a cradle you cannot see the battery level. Thats why this option is on most handsfree kits. Parrot, Bury etc.

Hi,
the App "BT Tethering Manager" maybe is made for another purposes, but after connection it shows the phone battery and the signal strength in the status bar of the unit.

Hello,

i have a Pumpkin Model AS1271B in my Audi A3.
Current OS is Android 7.1.2.

I tried the app "BT Tethering Manager" to show my battery level and my signal strength of my smartphone on my Pumpkin.
But i can not connect to the server (smartphone).
I guess the bluetooth module in my radio does not support bluetooth tethering.

Some questions to the Pumpkin-Experts:
- Is it true that die pumpkin does not support BT Tethering?
- Is there an other way to show this information on my Pumpkin?
- Is a software update available to solve this issue?
- Is it possible to use a separate bluetooth dongle to solve this problem?

Hi hothadcat ,
sorry that for the internal BT module , it really doesn't support BT Tethering and currently there is no software update to solve this issue, because there is nearly nobody use such a function in China.
If you don't mind ,you can try to use the separate bt dongle , i don't sure it would help .
