audi a3 8p px5 android 8.0 static noise problem

Hi,

I have the Android 8.0 headunit in a 2008 audi a3.

I am getting a static noise even when the radio is off.

It only starts once you get past the pumpkin boot screen and gets slightly worse when you swipe the screen or press a button.

Please can you advise on how to fix this?

No problem dear friend. yess there is noise when playing music.Noise goes away if I turn off the sound.Noise does not increase.

Volume mute or zero no noise,volume 1-30 yes constant static noise

Hi,
you can try to enter settings - car settings - factory settings - other - amp volume option and set it as -15dB ,then click apply and next reboot the unit .

Static noise issues are most of the time no big deal to get fixed.
The problem is the car not the unit. There are interferences in the car net and you need to get them out of the power cable.

Just buy some (6 are fine) ferrite filters (Ebay cost less than 10 bucks) and put them on the yellow cable, the red cable and at the ground cable just near the Quadlock and near the pumpkin connector.
