Radio Okayer .APK / Alternate Radio apps?

Hello, My first post here actually. I installed my Pumpkin 8.0 a week ago. Sorry I have no idea what the model number is, as it is not listed on the Amazon listing anywhere.

I have been trying to find a replacement radio app that will work with this hardware. I use the radio app a LOT and, sorry, but to be honest, the layout and text is just not very good. The TINY buttons on the right to change the stations are hard to select while driving.

What is the hardware that is in this unit? From my understanding there are different specifications such as MTCB/MTCC/MTCD ect.

Here is an altered apk for a 2 year old pumpkin, that will not work on my newer unit. You can see the text is larger, the presets are along the bottom of the screen, and there is room for the RDS text to display the station & song name.

Hi,
thanks for your feedback and i will react this to my regarding engineers .The radio app was built-in the unit because it need to work with the special hardware so that many third party radio apps are not completely compatible with our unit. Hope your kind understandings.

Thank you for your response, but I still do not know what hardware is in this unit. I linked to the Amazon page where I purchased it, and need to know if it is MTCB/MTCC/MTCD ect. Once I know this, I can try to find a compatible radio app. Thank you.

Thank you and our engineer said do not upgrade it because it will cause the headunit dead.

Originally radio FM it is impractical!
We want something nicer and more practical!

I could not agree more, you can tell that it was put together by an engineer, and not a designer. No disrespect to the engineer!

That is a different one that the one I found. I can verify that it works on my Pumpkin 8.0

When I first started the app, it was on AM and there is no AM/FM button. I tapped the tuning scale at the top of the screen, and that flipped it to FM. I was able to program my stations onto the buttons along the bottom of the screen. It is not showing the RDS text for me for station/song name ect.
