I have the same problem with the cryptic station name since I bought the unit earlier this year.
All I got from the customer service after several e-mails was a signal booster which did not really solve the problem.

I am driving with a truck and use the radio app very often , but it is very annoying because the radio app doesn´t search for a new station when the signal get´s week.

BTW I am from Austria , our RDS station name is "O3" which is not too long

In short words , if there is not solution till the end of this year , I will remove the unit from my truck , buy a new one and for sure a non pumpkin unit and you can imagine that I will not recommend pumpkin to anyone and I really know a lot of people.

Hi all,
sorry that this kind of unit CN10-03303 come with this issue that the messy code display of the RDS station name. Our engineers constantly working with this issue and program the newer firmware which was updated on 20180330. However,there might be many reasons to cause this ,some of our clients solve this issue after update the firmware and some not.If you are troubled with this issue, you can contact the pumpkin customer service about the further solution .
Very sorry to bring you such bad experience.Now we obtain this unit and won't sell it any more.
