Good Afternoon, I installed my new Android 8 unit at the weekend, so far I'm very happy and improves greatly on the original Ford Unit.

I'm having a few connectivity issues, I've connected my phone via bluetooth and was hoping the the head unit would be able to use the data from my phone to get some internet activity for apps like Waze etc.... At present if I start waze it states 'No network'.

The only way Ive found so far to connect my phone to the unit for data is to cast a WiFi hotspot from my phone and join the head unit to it.

could I have your thoughts please?

Hi, the Pumpkin android unit get internet via follow ways :
1. Wifi . Connect to hot spot from phone or other wifi source .
2.3G/4G dongle .Need insert an sim card which support WCDMA format .
Note : don't get internet via BT or USB connection from the phone .
