Hi,
Bought the VW Pumpkin 8.0 head unit (AE0373B) for my Golf Mk6 and i can't get the buttons on the right of the steering wheel to work. The buttons on left (vol up down, channel plus minus do work). I would like buttons like back button to work and be able map buttons as required as i've seen in some threads and youtube videos.
This is the model i bought.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1
When i go into steering wheel option nothing appears, have tried pressing reset and save.
Canbus is set to 01 VW&SKODA(Simple and Raise) in factory settings.
I have tried some other Canbus options with no luck.
What am i missing??
Thanks

Hi, could you show me a picture of your steering wheel and tell me what kinds of functions of the button on the right of the steering wheel?
Because your car has canbus system, so you needn't and are unable to remap the buttons on the steering wheel. And the canbus settings is right.
Regards

Hi Jammy,
Here are some pictures but having a further read around the internet I now understand the same ie that I am unable to remap the steering wheel buttons because the cambus is already mapped.
I was hoping I could remap some of the buttons like I’ve seen in some of the videos using the 3 SWC wires in the loom.

OK thanks. I've found that you can use MTCD Tools to remap buttons and create action sequences
