the difference between the sd slot and the GPS slot

Usually, there are two slots built in our unit. One is sd slot and one is GPS slot.
They both can be recognized as an external/portable memory to the unit. Please notice, the format of the card should be FAT32 better.
Besides, the GPS slot has two special functions. One is for Navigation. You can download the offline map data into the root content of one sd card and insert it into this slot. Then open your offline map app and the unit will read the data from the sd card in the GPS slot. Please note, our unit does not support all offline map app, you can consult the pumpkin customer service to check this. And one is for flashing the unit. Sometimes the unit has to update the firmware or mcu files to solve any bugs, then we will ask you to download the files to the root content of one sd card and also insert it into the GPS slot or USB ports. The unit will automatically recognize the firmware or mcu files through this slot or USB ports.
